Palm Pusher & Stitching Glovelettes - Perfect Pairings

You know those things that just seem to belong together? They don't match and they're fine when you use them on their own, but they're even better....together? That's how we came up with 'Perfect Pairings'! 2 patterns that a great on their own...but are absolutely awesome together!

STITCHING GLOVELETTES - Soft leather glovelettes are ideal if you do a LOT of hand stitching with waxed thread. Saves your pinkie fingers from cuts and blisters as you pull that thread tight! do you know if you need a pair of 'Stitching Glovelettes'? Well....It all depends on if you are a "palms up", or "palms down" kind of stitcher. People who stitch with their "palms down" generally pull the thread tight with their index finger. People who stitch with their "palms up" use their pinkie fingers to pull the thread tight. The next time you stitch something, take a look at how you pull your thread tight. That will tell you what kind of stitcher you are. We are "palms up" stitchers, so we developed a glove that would save our pinkie fingers!

PALM PUSHERS - These soft leather palm pushers are ideal for when you have to push your stitching needle thru many layers of leather. This pattern is a new take on an old design and are waaaaay more comfortable than the original 'Sail Palms' that many of us have been using throughout the years. And we have included both left and right-hand patterns.

Way back when, (not sayin' how many years, suffice it to say....quite a bit of time has gone by), you could buy both left and right 'sail palms' from your favorite leather supply store. They were advertised as 'ONE SIZE FITS ALL'! Ha! What a laugh! They are too big for some people and too tight for others. Adjustable? I think not! And did I mention stiff? They are oh so very stiff! Use them too much and you might get blisters!

So we created these 'Palm Pushers' to replace the old stiff 'Sail Palms'. You can make a custom fit, just for yourself. can make them adjustable, just in case there's more than one leathercrafter in the house!

PDF pattern for leathercrafters and leather workers everywhere. Make them for yourself, make them for your friends, even to sell.

Full color examples, materials list, tools required, instructions, and hand-drawn patterns are all included in the PDF pattern pack....both available for instant download!
